Review process
Every shaver I recommend goes through weeks of real use before I write a word about it — not a quick unboxing, not a few strokes in front of a mirror.
I run each one against razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and sensitive skin, the same problems that got me into this in the first place. I pay attention to how a shaver performs on day one versus week three, once the blades have settled in and the novelty’s worn off.
If something underperforms, that goes in the review too. I’d rather lose a sale than mislead someone into buying the wrong shaver.
Am I sponsored by any shaver brands?
No. I buy every shaver I test with my own money, and I don’t accept free units, sponsorships, or brand endorsements. That’s a hard line for me — the moment a brand pays for a review, the review stops being honest.
